i have a great idea, reading ebWHITE, he made it across America in a model A Ford, no paved roads between Fargo and Seattle, he carried all the parts with him and did it himself, he was editor of his college newspaper. He later wrote a story about howmuch he missed horses and how quickly they got rid of them and perhaps City Hall should not have been so anally OCD about those beautiful friends of ours.
I have a great idea for a shortstory in a utopic future. They have revolutionized transportation by cranking out an anti bourgeois Ford barebones. The fuel company gives them away for free because they are their market and they are building them cooperatively for less than a song.
There is a huge market for car bodys. The designers have nothing to do with the chassis. Some people go for comfortable chairs and some go for surround sound. So you get the look you want but you can still get around if you can't afford it.
The key to writing a utopia is focusing on economy.
