What's A Heaven For?

I've been thinking about what you said and it seems to me that action drama is the quintessential American contribution because we can spend a fortune on one movie and to the filmmakers it seems unbelievable that no one notices how ridiculous it is, and this is where people get away with it.

Men were astonished and continue to be astonished by The Lady Novelist who was born after Napoleon and died before him and never showed one iota of an instance of paying any attention to his antics. Her real brothers were admirals in the navy and her books have brothers with commissions and tenants who are admirals with brother-in-laws who are captains and louisa says "There is nothing so fine as a sailor."  (i have to look it up how Jane puts it) She is proudly ridiculous of her brothers and in this way she is like Marshall at the end of 8 Mile when he slams himself harder than they ever could.

All of her books are repeatedly getting made into movies over and over again because she only wrotes 7 even so that's all we get!

it's like when Katharine tells the boxer he has to be hitting himself in the face

im such a patriot,
the drama with other countrys can be so hellbent, so ridiculous and we Love it, and sometime the stakes are incredibly high, ridiculously high, and soldiers are sent to bully someone into submission, it is so hard to get away with it now a day everyone knows we can just destroy the whole city but when it is successful, it is a rich artillery and when it is ridiculous, god bless the effort!

stripes*

the post nuclear post computer age has begun
and all the soldiers are trying not to be pussys
they’re all scared to death of each other

if man's reach doesn't exceed his grasp, what's a heaven for? (Browning)

I think *Harold had that talent
when he plays the fat old doctor in As Good As It Gets
it was good to see him.
